Last weekend, we tore it up at Chuckwalla!

There was a brand spankin new Ferrari Italia and a Viper ACR out there too.

Very nice!! Although the soundtrack of the car would have been way better to listen to than the music imo...

It was just a lot of wind noise. Here's one where you can actually hear the engine though:

Yeah. Had all of it turned off. It's surprising what a difference that makes!

you should buy a cheap portable digital audio recorder with an external mic so you can record audio right from above the exhaust tips on the bumper then you can sync it up with your video. the wind noise is really annoying on the gopro. also the in car perspective is not as good as the one you have now imo. I have tried them all

Even though it's the closest track to us, it's still 45min east of Palm Desert. So figure 3hrs drive from San Diego.

Also, others have said... 6 months out of the year, it's crazy hot. I'm not sure I'd go between April and Sept.

Meh...Mustangs are Mustangs. Loud, heavy, and most can't handle unless heavily modified.

By the way... here's my 60yr old Dad at the wheel:

You can see where he goes off the track and totally demolishes a cone and a rumble strip. It ripped off the rear driver's jack pad.

But it was a great time.
