JB4 - Auto Delete Codes Off mode

How do I know if I am in the correct mode. I went to the steering wheel controls and chose 1-4 and now when I go back to 1 on the speedo the tach reads at 0. Is that what it should be doing? At have a catless downpipe and was expecting it to throw a code when I switched it to 1-4 but the CEL has not come on yet. I only changed it to auto delete off yesterday.

Thanks

You might have to drive a complete driving cycle to have the code reappear, ie drive until the engine is fully warmed up.

I found it took a few hours of driving before I got the CEL with error codes 29F5 & 29F4 (Catless downpipes detected). Generally it's when I'm cruising along the highway.

Just to hijack your thread - I also often get 2C77, 2CA8 and 2C7B codes "Lamdba probe behind catalytic converter (1&2) signal / function" errors. (these are also autocleared) I'm assuming this is because they were damaged during the install of the downpipes.... does anyone know if this error can be safely ignored?

Thanks. I have probably only driven an hour and while the car has warmed up during my drives they have not been that far or at highways speeds.
