Sensors and camera for 2011 135i convertible

Hi all, I'm about to buy a 2011 135i convertible and I'm looking for the best possible and least intrusive way of installing a backup camera and sensors. Does anyone have links to a possible solution and can you give me an idea of the cost and where I should get this done?

Your best bet is probably to get the integrated backup camera solution offered by bimmer-tech. I don't think you need the sensors if you also have the camera cause then you're talking thousands of dollars for the sensors, new bumper, etc. They do sell the PDC sensors though as well and I believe they list a dealer in Denver that could do an install. It integrates incredibly well into the nav/idrive screen, so think that is a requirement. Check out a video of it on youtube on a 3-series, it's pretty ingenious and looks great.

Thanks, but there's a wrinkle. The 2011 does not have idrive. what now and would you let a store like cartoys tinker with your 135 convertible?

No I would be reluctant to do so. Did you find a better solution?
