I'm 80% right now. Will know for sure within 2 weeks.

As for hotels, I'll follow Rick's lead on this. I'm not picky and I'll probably be solo for this trip.

EDIT: you should put the link in the first post!

No worries Gabe. These regulations don't apply for new and legal streetcars. Your car wil be fine. But if it can reassure you, you could always ask them again. Here's what Nynke mailed to me in september

Hello Rick and Rudi,

You have been driving with us on Spa this March.

We then talk about the bucket seat and the 4 point seat belts that were necessary to drive with us.

We have recently changed our rules about this; it is now possible for you to come with your M series one without changing anything about this points!

I haven’t changed our website yet but want to send you an email because we would love to see the M’s again with us on the track. If you have friend don’t hesitated to tell them about the change. There cars should also be in good shape like yours.

This year we will do three more days:

10th of October Circuit Park Zandvoort, the Netherlands

8th of November Spa Francorchamps, Belgium and

9e of December Omloop van Zolder, Belgium.

Hope to see you again on one of our days!

Cheers,

Nynke

I have one helmet, Rudi has one so we aren't driving 8 hours straight...you can always borrow one of ours...unless your girl wants to go every lap. bring a skull cap or some kind of hair thingy if you are borrowing a helmet. I paid something like $200 for mine. See if elsabor has one to borrow.

To get ready i upgraded my brake fluids, installed titanium shims on my OEM pads/calipers, upgraded to stainless steel lines and installed my track tires....i brought a jack, 4 tires/wheels, a torque wrench and basic tools.

This time i 'll have my upgraded BBK and a 4-point harness (thanks a bunch to Rudi)...no engine or cooling mods yet but am thinking about an intercooler before i go.

My instruction came by way of €200 to Jaap van Laugen, a Porsche cup driver. But i don't think he's coming back. You'd probably do good riding with Rudi first couple of laps as he's got the most time at Spa.

So no in-car instruction?

I have a Snell helmet....someplace, maybe in my garage? If not I'll just buy a new one because I regularly attend track days & auto-crosses back in the states.

The only thing I am doing to my car is changing the brake fluid & oil change.
