Oh, I really want it, but honestly I hate the hassle of going to the dealer and there is basically one dealer within 50+ miles of me and it's complete crap. Service is horrible. And I'm not sure I can afford the car if/when it breaks out of warranty. I'm on here because I like to do a little research before I buy as I plan on keeping this next car a while and I'd rather not have something I have to do a new fuel pump on every 6-10k miles.

my previous rides

Didn't care for the G37
Loved the 08 M3. Hated to get rid of it, but the economy forced it.
Liked the 06 M3, would have been much better with a 6sp. SMG sucked!

Great thread idea

Really cool everyone's old rides - sort of like looking back at pics of girlfriends. Had a few of those stolen as well...

My current track car, well till my 135 gets here. I'm going to miss quattro in the rain. I killed just about everything when the track got wet.

Lastly my brakes before they were installed. They are monsters on the track

Showing off my massive, but much needed intercooler.

AWE, I'm not a fan of APR. I had alot of tuning issues with them before I had to get a custom tune. I'm running 21 psi max and tapering to 17 at 7250 =)

That must have been about as fast as a stock 135 not bad at all. My major problem was fuel cuts, I had their HPFP with stg 2 and still would go into limp mode. I was only running on the k03 then with max 17 psi. Bigger turbo, more boost, and custom tune. After that the car never went into limp mode again. They initially kept saying that my cam follower was bad, we would take it out and send them a pic with all my data logs and they could never figure out what happened. Mike and Keith were very responsive, but just could not figure it out. Last thing we talked about was possibly a incompatibility with my ECU that they could not fix. Yeah their factory is amazing and they do turn out some great hardware.

Actually with all those mods I still wasnt quite where a stock 135 is. The gti had crazy torque but not much power, and it sure wasnt near as smooth as this baby. That and the 2.0T was just all over the place, steering the car every way but straight, even with upgraded mounts, and the FWD on that thing made it even worse. I do miss some things bout the GTI but the engine and overall performance wasnt one of them. The friggin apr Intercooler was huge thou, way too big you would think for that car, is wasnt THICK like say the HPF IC for the 1er, it was just really big.

Flat out the inline 6 twin turbo beats the shit outta that weak ass ko3 2.0 anyday, even with it tuned. I think i was still only putting out about 255 whp with the tune and IC and the gti's weight was pretty much exactly what the 135's is, exhaust, yada yada. The gti stock put down i think 174 whp so..

Fun shit thou, crazy lil hatchback

fellow A4. Had the same car. Loved the looks and its capabilities in the winter time. I was never scared to drive it even when there was 0 visibilities and snow everywhere. I didnt even need winter tires. Only problem, it was way too slow in the summer even with stage 1 apr. I also didnt want to experiences the dreaded cam follower problem so I got myselft a little aw 135 rocket.

Yeah the 2.0T is a great motor and responds well to mods but it will never have the power of a "chipped" N54 or N55. The A4 quattro is one of the best handling cars in the rain or ice. I love playing on the wet skidpad, can put the car where ever I want. Ill miss it but this is definately a step up in power which I'm looking for.
