Great drives WA - Caves Rd
Definitely a must for all WA based 135i drivers - the run from Dunsborough to Augusta down Caves Rd (and back)!
Just spent the last few days down there and fell in love again with the poise and handling of the car. Put the car in S mode and off you go down the 100 or so km of windy twisting tarmac. Would love to hear of any other great WA drives! BTW - God bless the Valentine V1 - saved my bacon twice outside Bunbury - one Multanova and one laser! Admittedly I was doing the limit when pinged by the laser as the detector isn't much good for warning against lasers. The Multanova was picked up a good 200m away.

I live in Maddington and I often take the GTR out into the hills for a thrash and just go down random roads to get myself lost. There's some awesome roads up there which never get used and thus have near new and smooth surfaces.
I'll be out there Saturday week, I get to pick my car up next Friday! woo

go to Midland, head up great eastern highway to mundaring. Then you should be able to follow the signs to the weir.. Once at the weir, get some lunch, a beer, an ice-cream then head along the same road which will take you to Kalamunda which is the main jist of the road.
Look up the zig zag in Kalamunda also, its a nice short little drive down the side of the hill which they use for Targa West.. its a thin 1 land road (one way) with a few hairpins.
