I tend to agree that it looks good dirty too.... but only when its REALLY dirty. Brake dust and water spots look like isht.

Several years back I remember seeing a photo of some rich dude to had just taken delivery of his dodge viper GTS (remember the blue ones with the white stripes?) in like jan/feb down in Seattle and then drove it up the Al-Can to Fairbanks where he lived...

You litterally couldn't even tell that the car was blue...

That situation might be just a bit different than ours since those cars were 2x what a loaded 1er costs, but I applaud his bravery. A little dirt doesn't hurt anything.
