woah, these are by far the best stock wheels so far. The wheel wells on the e90 are so big it seems like you need an 18" wheel just to look normal, and a 19" wheel to look sporty ! bangle really loves big wheels for some reason

They're nice but I prefer the 162's look though(18" and the ones I've chosen)

For just one reason: The brake discs look like crap with thos 199 19"ers

If you get the 330, the rotors are over an inch larger. The car in the pictures is a 325, and I agree, the rotors look tiny with those wheels.

Usually BMW does not trim the windows on sport package cars in chrome. I don't know if they changed it for the E90, but that would be odd.

BMW usually makes the higher range car in chrome trim (ie 330i vs 325i), it doesnt have to do with having sports package or not. (for US model cars atleast)

On euro-spec cars, 6-cylinder models get chrome kidney grilles and chrome window trim.

Hey if I order Style 199 wheels and I already ordered the sport package, will I get a liitle credit for my current Style 162 wheels? Or will I have to pay the full price option?

Here, check out these sport vs. normal. You'll notice that the exterior trim is black on the sports and chrome on the normal car.

745i sport

745i non-sport

545i sport

545i non-sport

and none of those are a 3 series.. take the word of previous 3 series owners, its common knowledge, the 330i comes with chrome window trim, the 325i comes with black window/kidney trim. it doesnt matter if the car has sports package.

Not in The Netherlands: 325i only differs from 330i with the wheels and exhaust pipes.

Germany, same story I guess.

Sorry Kchika & MarkE90M3. I now see your posts

Yea, i'm only talking about US models. Every country specs their trims in different ways, BMWAG will spec out a car in anyway the local BMW distributor asks for. ie. BMWUSA asks for all 330's to have chrome trim and all 325s to have black trim.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I am also a former E46 owner.

Here's a picture of the 330i ZHP

In that photo, it is a 330iZHP, ZHP is the exception to the rule rahter then the rule. Its a very limited production car, there is no ZHP on the E90. ZHP is NOT the sports package, its something different. Again, for the record...

325i = BLACK TRIM (doesnt matter if you have sports package or not)

330i = CHROME TRIM + CHROME KIDNEY GRILLS (doesnt matter if you have sports package or not)

there is no such thing as ZHP for the E90, so hence, all 330s will have chrome trim.

Well, back to the original topic.

Damn, I wish I could order the 199 wheels as an option. I've got to talk to my dealer about that.
