Cobb Files

[Mark 1M]

I have a cobb custom tune that was on my friends 1M but it wont work on my 1M its grayed out

His file is
Stg1+FMIC LT Sport IKM0S custom v9 1M v402

my car is
Stg1+FMIC LT Sport IKB0S 1M v402

Can this be changed to work on the IKBOS dme ?

I believe any custom Cobb maps will only run on the car it was first uploaded to.

What Tinsta said, if it was a protuned map made in AccesstunerPro it might be a locked file either to his AP serial or VIN.

If the file itself is not locked or was made in AccesstunerRace, you could have your DME updated to IKM0S to run it.

Alternatively, you could try opening the map with AccesstunerRace and manually copy the table values over. You'd need two copies of ATR to do this, since the program is locked to the DME version and AP serial number.

I had my last 1M updated at BMW and it was on IKMOS so if i get the new car updated at BMW it should work if its not locked ?

Go for it, you will not be dissapointed with buraq tune, i have a 1 m that he tuned, he should be posting my latest dyno with logs soon
