Doing a Foreign Exchange

So my brother and I are doing a foreign exchange to the UK in the spring sem of 2011. We have narrowed down our choices to either Sheffield, Hertfordshire, or East Anglia.
Anybody know anything about the schools/ area/ nightlife??

the only other notables on our list of available schools are Exeter and Hull

Out of that lot, I'd go for Sheffield - plenty going on, big student population etc
