Hey guys, hope some of yall will get to C&O this month.

Im gonna be traveling so it will be August before I make it to another C&O.

After the August C&O we should go do a mountain run and then hit atlanta motorsports park and run the kart track.

The karts they rent are certainly limited in power but will hit 50mph and the track is awesome. Tons of elevation change. By your second session you will only use the brakes on 4 of the corners and the rest is WOT!!!

Also I'm sure some members will be tracking cars on the car track and are usually pretty nice about giving ride alongs to people interested. AMP is alwo where I buy race gas at the pump!

I won't be making this C&O either. I'm definitely planning on making it out to the August meet though.

Well then lets plan to go run the mountains and race each other on the kart track after C&O. Its crazy how fun it is. You will leave wanting to buy a shifter kart!

I know morningscifi will probably be down to run the karts. He kicked my ass last time but I think I'll give him a run this time!

Yeah, I just started work Monday. Still in the adjustment phase, not quite used to it yet. Kinda still feels like a vacation/normal weekend trip. I would definitely be down for some karting and possible mountain runs. What karting place are you talking about (I've been to Andretti's and it was tons of fun, group of about 8 of us so we had the track to ourselves on our races)?

Atlanta Motorsports Park has opened their entire track (not just the kidney bean!) to rentals now. It's crazy with the elevation changes, a couple blind and negative camber cornering.

@morningscifi @ONDEMAND We going to try to get more people up to the August C&O? There are a couple people on e90post talking about it, let's nail down a time to all meet up and park together for this one again.

Also, I'm down for the karts, not sure about the mountain run yet we'll do it by ear I guess. I'd have to leave my pup at home and can't leave him there for too long or he'll tear something up lol

I'm definitely in. Karts too. How'd we get so many people to show that one time?! Even in crappy weather.

I have no clue, somehow it worked out. I think this subforum is hardly ever looked at, especially on the app since it takes so long to get to it.

Well, I'm officially out for this weekend. Was planning on going, but my family planned a lake day for my grandfather's birthday.

I'm going ahead and making plans for Septembers. I haven't been to one this year, and its frustrating since I moved back to Atlanta.

@TwinTurbo - Saw your ride in the side lot! We had a few 1's but not the quantity we've had in the past.

We really need to get a group of ones together early next month.

After the show me and morningscifi, my brother (e90) and a good buddy with a MZ4 roadster road down to the Tilted Kilt (gotta love trashy women pouring drinks!) and watched the Continental Tire Series race at Indianapolis.

Seems like blue was the color for Sunday!

The Grandsport class finsihed with M3's in second and third. The street tuner class only 1 bmw in the top three, a 328 in third. The 128i that won the championship last year finished 10th.

So whos down to meet up early next month? I want 6 1ers minimum!

Like I always say, I'm gonna try to make it up. I've already put it on my calendar to be there, so we'll see how that goes.

First Sunday of every month. It seems to start earlier and earlier... I got there around 630 and the main lot was already getting pretty full. The next one looks like it will be Sept 7th.
