Maybe it's a temporary glitch in the website...or maybe this has been posted elsewhere, but the Glacier Silver trim is no longer an option for the 128i on the "Build Your Own". Still shows as available for the 135i though.

Hmmm...

We've got it on our 335d but it wasn't an option on the 135i.

I have gone for the brushed aluminium trim too.

The first of the first two pics looks as though a flash were used. Flash doesn't make anything look good.

Seen it in person, didnt like it to be honest. Looks like plastic.

Also seen the brushed aluminium which is ok. Wanted high gloss black or cf but not an option unfortunately.

And I agree, why have so many different configurations for different countries? Its ridiculous.

You can include this California guy who really likes it. From a normal viewing distance it looks great. Nothing plastic about it.

Heck, brushed aluminum is everywhere, and makes for a good toaster or appliance...lol. The glacier aluminum trim is unique and it has class. So far, I'm glad I ordered it, and if for some reason I don't like it... no problem... I'll just change it to carbon fiber.

We'll both be happy then!

Seriuosly though, this car is amazing. A bit of trim won't matter.

I didn't like it in any of the pictures I saw. But after seeing it in person, I love it and wonder if Gray Poplar was the right thing for me to order? I think Glacier goes with this car really well - especially with a black interior.

I saw it on a Blue 1 w/ Grey Interior and it looked hot.

Why not the gray poplar wood? I think it's by far the best choice, with any interior color.

I just picked up my 135i (Sedona red) this Saturday. Have to agree that I am slightly disappointed w/ the interior, especially the glacier silver. Will probably switch to brushed al once someone come up w/ the aftermarket kit.....

I think your Sedona looks better with glacier than any of the wood options. I would keep it if I were you.....

Mine is on order, and will have glacier. I love it in person. Pictures don't do it any justice.

Is swapping trim a simple matter? Anyone feeling like throwing together a DIY? I'd be down for the CF.

Read a DIY on 3 series. Seems very simple but you may break the plastic socket which the teeth of the trim sit on. May be prudent to buy a few extra sockets from your dealer first.
