2011 base stereo question
Hi I have a 2011 135 convertible. I know I am going to be told I missed this somewhere but I have been looking all over the site for some answers.
I have the base stereo. 2-tweeters by the sideview mirror 4-4" speakers 2- subs under front seats. If I want to add an amp/sub, where is the easiest place to tap into the speaker wires to get a signal to the amp. There is a bundle of wires that runs behind the seat but I have no clue if any of these are correct to tap into. Recommendations? it seems that 2010 and earlier cars are set up a bit differently? Thanks guys and sorry if I missed the post before |

IF you have speakers in the front doors AND also up by the side mirrors... you have the upgraded (HK ? ) sound system.
I have a 2010, 135i and I do not have the tweeters by the side mirrors. I have the base system. |

This is a HiFi system... the HK would have 2 more tweeters in the rear panels and a center channel.
Check this thread for information about adding a sub to this system: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=diagram |
