How well does the subwoofer work? I am assuming it just goes where the fatory subs are? Does it compare to a regularo 8 inch in a seperate box?

the subs are made to fit under the seats like the OEM ones. since they are only 8" they don't hit as hard as a 10" in a bandpass box would but it's a good little upgrade.

for some weird ass reason my car didn't have tweeters from the factory... they didnt include them in like 6 months worth of N55 1series cars w/o HK sound. I added these so I would have tweeters so I can't comment on how they sound over stock ones but I know the highs are real crisp and loud.

I might actually keep them if they fit into whatever car i get next cuz i like them so much.

yeah it's a pretty weird system BMW puts in so I would suggest whether you take this stuff or not, invest in getting a clean sweep or MS-8 and reamp the stock system because the OEM amp is a distortion factory compared to what else is out there.

UPDATE

Looks like I am keeping the car (upside down on what I owe compared to what people are offering me) but I will be selling most of the mods still. I have deleted the mods off the list that I wish to keep so I apologize if you were waiting for one that is no longer available but I would like to have the car somewhat enjoyable for myself until I can get rid of it.
