Update

Everyone that ordered should have got an email receipt from google checkout, but if your card got charged, then you can be sure your order is in their system and your place in line for shipping is secured.

As for the charges, just like with paypal or other "protected" payment services like google checkout, the card is charged right when the order is made otherwise they have no way to garantee the funds. I have been advised that if anyone would like a refund, all they need to do is ask because they don't hold anyone hostage, its just a pre-order.

There will be more updates on the product and its features coming soon. If anyone else would like in on this just let me know.

Put my order in

I know I'm a bit late and for that I apologize, better late than never I guess.

I really miss the boost gauge that my old Supra had. Not having one is driving me crazy.

I've put my pre-order in. Can't install it anyway until the weather gets nicer.

Best Regards.

For the people that have the v1, will it simply be a matter of swapping the vent (with the plus), or am I going to have to mess around with the electronics/firewall again?

Me too Matt. They're not too far away now. Thanks to you and everyone else in this group buy for being so patient

It's probably best to email P3 Cars directly for an accurate response. All I have been told is that you can send in your v1 unit and they will give you a $100 discount on the v2 unit. The PLUS version makes the install and remove much easier because the entire air vent is replaced. I believe the extra cost for the PLUS unit covers the OEM air vent piece that they are using.

The pre-order had a time-table of 6-8 weeks, and I believe we are about 3-4 weeks into that. Sorry I can't do much more on my end but I will report back with an update.

I didn't read about the 6-8 week delay between paying and shipping, so I asked Rick for a tracking number today. I will report here any reply I get with an ETA.

I think they will start getting units out before the dead-line. Pre-orders will be shipped in order of who made the payment though.

Actually, Rick advised that the wait time, as specified on the order page was 6-10 weeks starting from when the group buy started...

Just saying "rick said 10 weeks" is pretty misleading...

Rick advised the wait will be 6-10 weeks. My credit card was charged 19/12 so that's 3+ weeks. Tick tick Rick. ;-)

Update

A batch of laser cut aluminum faceplates for the new gauges should be coming in tomorrow. If everything fits orders will start shipping out at the end of the month. Thanks for your patience everyone.
