Cheers Jezzer
I don't think it runs off batteries Aussie in London, its connect to the OBD port I think as that's where it gets all the info from like oil/water temps & revs. Will have a search on M3 forum & see what info I can find. |

Isn't there a test menu you can get into when you hold both buttons down for a few secs. ???
Time to read that 200+ page owners manual for the Perf wheel.

Yes I'm reading thru the manual now but the problem is the steering wheel no longer has any power going to it, the stereo controls & M button still work but the electronic display on top of steering wheel no longer function.

It has happened to me before but just temporarily and it was due to the steering wheel overheating from exposure to the sun. When it gets really hot it will not turn on...if you keep the two buttons pressed two red LED lights flash once and the display remains off.
After a few minutes that the steering wheel cooled down, it worked fine. Good luck!

That happens to mine as well when I've parked my car exposed to the sun after a whole day in the office. As someone previously said, check your connections

Check the OBD port fuse. I am not sure our cars have one, but this is a common thing on Fords to have the OBD fuse pop when you have gauges connected.
