FS: DINAN Cold Air Intake System - Carbon Fiber. e82 e90 e92 e93

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
****SOLD****

***SEE PICS BELOW***

Thinking about selling my DINAN CAI system. Has roughly 5k miles on it. In mint condition, just could really use the cash right now.

I'd like to get $800 for it, but I'm open to any reasonable offers.

I'm out of Boston (01921), I prefer local pick up if possible. I will ship at buyers expense.

Kit comes with installation instruction directly from DINAN. I did it myself, took roughly an hr and a half going at a casual pace. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

I APOLOGIZE FOR NO PICTURES. I can get you pictures at your request, but keep in mind, it looks exactly like any picture you could google anyway...

Best method of contact is email: mcarnevale7@gmail.com
I get messages directly on my cell phone and will respond the fastest through that method of contact.

Thanks

stay tuned. I'm going to post some quick pics here tomorrow of the intake as it is installed in the car. for all those interested, keep in mind that I will uninstall the intake once there is a buyer.

also, keep in mind that the buyer will receive the handwritten install instructions as they come from DINAN with the kit. I will also do a great job putting all bolts in labeled ziploc bags so that your install goes as smooth as possible. Everything is spelled out with pictures within the DINAN provided instructions.

Good discount from MSRP, but holy balls is that expensive for a CAI.

Please don't undercut for sale threads - the seller has the right to set his own asking price. The market will dictate if the item sells or not and the seller can adjust their price appropriately if necessary.

The dinan intake is a very nice piece both from a functional and aesthetic stand point.

Op goodluck with your sale.

True. But I doubt Mr. Ebay is going to package everything up nice, organize all the bolts and parts, and be there if you have any questions with install.

This thing is essentially brand new guys it has about 5k miles on it, not a single scratch.

I have the same intake and paid the dinan price for this so i think his price is a fair price. Also this is the only true cold air intake out there it pulls cold air from lower intake vent in bumper. Im happy with mine

$800 for this piece is a great price for this considering it's in mint condition. $500 off msrp!

Since its sold, no worries about derailing a thread, but all of you that say dont post undercut prices are just silly or mad because someone did it to you and you lost a few bucks.

If I was buying this, I would want to know its $100 cheaper somewhere then its up to me to decide if I go with whatever option I so choose. That is how free markets work and prices are set fairly. The extreme scenario is lets say this costs $99 elsewhere, is it still rude to mention, 'hey, you could get this cheaper elsewhere' ? No, it isnt, its helpful.

If I plan to buy a TV at Best Buy and Amazon happens to email me a better price, does Best Buy get mad and say thats 'rude'. No, they match the price and an equilibrium is found.

Right, but was Amazon advertising the cheapest price for your TV on Best Buy's doorstep? Or did they take the buyer aside after they walked out of the store and let them know where they could get a cheaper price? Would it be okay if I ran into Best Buy as a rep from Amazon and said "Don't buy TV's here, you can get them cheaper somewhere else."?

Great point, I understand your perspective. "Forum Etiquette" is just a very grey concept imo. Regardless, the buyer will be receiving this soon
