Tire Pressure Sensor

Okay, my apologies if this is a stupid question. I just ordered snows from Gill @ Tire Rack, but totally forgot to ask about the sensors. I purchased BMW stock rims for my snows, so do I need to order the sensors or are they already part of the BMW rims? Thanks in advance for helping out a tire novice!

Sensors are not part of the wheels. If you want sensors in the new set up you have to move them over from the other wheels (costly to keep moving them back and forth) or buy a set for the new wheels.

Or if the tires are for the 4 mos of winter only just have no sensors. The light will stay on big deal. It'd be like driving a VW for a few months

I just changed my stock sensors into my new rims and tires, as long as they will fit in the new rims (lip edge where tire stem is), You should be able to change them over and save money. You can reset the TPMS yourself, actually easy to do.
