After installing the new lux angel eyes

Got my 6500k angel eyes installed a few days ago
I fount out that inside of the headlight cap has this moist n tiny water drops after I wash my car
Could it be the case was not engage firmly?!
Or anything should recheck?
Please advise would be appreciate

Same issue occurred with me after the Lux install. Right headlight heavy condensation inside. Did you notice this is just one or both headlights?

I assumed it was not an air tight fit when they re-installed the headlight and thats what caused the issue. I actually drove the car for a few weeks with the headlight condensation and slowly it evaporated until fully gone. I have washed the car myself about 10 times since then (pressure washer, full foam etc etc.) with no issues, no condensation has come back. Luckily my issue worked itself out over time but I was unhappy it even occurred in the first place.

It's the passenger side light is more serious
The drivers side is just a little bit
I rechecked the cap in the hood n open it with dryer
After 1 hour the water is gone
I re installed the cap back on
Hopefully it won't comeback again...

But the thing is
Would I be able to wash my car again?!

Condensation, moisture or water entrapment: well-known issue once headlight covers were opened, for example for installation of alternative headlight devices (such as LUX Angel Eyes). Must be air tight fit: any tiny opening whatsoever is sufficient for generating condensation.

Therefore, ensure/double-check that you properly closed both headlight cluster covers after installation. Both clamps must be clipped back in place + check with your mobile phone or your GF/wife's make-up mirror that the tabs on the bottom are in the connector points, and that no cable is interfering with the headlight cover sealing.

Risks when not duly sealed:

• foggy/humid headlight clusters
• dipped beam failure

If the issue is recurrent, get two new headlight covers (new seals). According to RealOEM they only cost $7.53 each (http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...98&hg=63&fg=05):

• left headlight cover: part# 63126924493
• right headlight cover: part# 63126924494

Furthermore, do mind that the LUX Angel Eyes ballast and wiring shall by no means interfere with the perimeter of the adaptive headlights. Otherwise you risk an "adaptive headlight failure". Should you require a new Xenon cluster because of this failure, BMW might tell you - if they're not in an indulgent mood - that your warranty is not applicable because of what you've self-inflicted through installation of a non OEM part. And a new Xenon cluster ain't cheap (around $1,750 ?).

I guess it's just my handy man didn't close it firmly n without checking it
Tonite I had it rechecked
I think it should be ok
If this situation is recurring
I will change my oem rings back n get back to BMW for a fix up
