Feedback on a new wheel setup i have purchased
So, i've just put out for a set of new 19" CSL style wheels. They were on a 'clearance offer', because apparently the paint finish on them is slightly darker on the rears than the front. This doesn't bother me, as i will be changing the colour of them anyway, so to me, this was a great deal.
Now, my only concern is the fitment, the retailer told me they should be fine, but i would like to run it by you guys aswell... Front:- 19 x 8J x ET47 Rear:- 19 x 8.5J x ET37 They recommended i use 225 on the front, with 235 on the rear, as they think 245 may rub That part i am okay with, but... ...they also said that if i intend on lowering the vehicle (which i do), then a set of coilovers may foul the inner front wheels unless i use a 5mm spacer. Now i really don't like the idea of using spacers, it's something that i am personally not a fan of using, at all. Does anyone run a setup like this, or very similar, and on coilovers? Do you think i will have to use spacers to clear the front wheels from the coilover strut? Cheers. |
