Carbon fiber wrapping the trim!

I'm sure there's plenty of threads of people wrapping the trim with CF but well, I did it to my 325 and so I gotta do it again with my 128
Went with glossy vs matte this time and not 100% sure I like it. Though I did all of this after dark so I'll see how it turned out in the morning

I'll add pictures in the morning of it actually put back together.

Really happy with how the steering wheel trim turned out

Oh, original is high gloss black, which isnt too bad, but i just really really like the CF look

and can someone tell me how the F to get the cig tray trim out? i popped the front part near the shifter and the back is still held in tight... didnt want to break anything. i couldnt find or see any screws and some other posts in a quick search while in the car said there is 1 screw then other posts said no screw

Do you need any special tools to remove those trims? Im looking to get a 128i vert coral red and wood trim ( hate wood trim). I would go with either carbon or aluminum look.

Get a non-marring trim removal kit. Most on Amazon will have a good review if it's quality. Don't need a 10pc kit. I only used 2 and worked carefully from one end to the other. Everything's held in with clips so it's pretty easy

What brand of wrap is that? Looks nice; more real looking than the stuff I used.

It's glossy, so depends if you like that or not. I used the matte one on my 325 and it's actually textured... here... this one is good quality, very thick too but bc its thicker, it's a bitch around corners
