He was alive long enough to get in the car and try to drive off, killer crawled out the trunk, he's in a convertible?

Well done sir. It was indeed a convertible.

Shall we do another?

You have two coins in your pocket totaling 15 cents. One of the coins is not a nickel. What are the two coins?

Dime and a nickel. The dime isn't a nickel.

Oops the second was a totally different question - i think the first is fairly easy - yes answer is 1

6 / 2(1+2) is a little more difficult - and would be better is i could type in a real "divided by" symbol.

Is it 9? These order of operation problems always get me confused.
3(3) = 9?

Nope, PEMDAS is the correct order of operations
Parenthesis
Exponents
Multiplication and Division
Addition and Subtraction

So the 3/(1/3) should be done first and equals 9. Then you're left with 9-9+1 = 1

EDIT: just realized you were trying to answer the second question...you're right
6/2(1+2) = 3(3) = 9

Order of operations. The devil is in the details. I work in engineering. Not an engineer but I'm a Project Coordinator. It's always the small details that haunt you if you aren't aware of what's going on.

If you were educated prior to 1917 you might of had a choice in the order of operation
I think that would look like this answer 7.1

9-[3/(1/3 & 1)] = 7.1

Not sure but I think that is the old method explained in modern order of operation

On the car thing with the dead guy is it a transport from funeral home?
