LSD Installer Chicagoland?

Strongly considering a Quaife LSD for my '08 135 auto. Tired of having to baby the car from start and around corners/turns after Cobb install. Looks like HPA is the place to buy from. They list Patrick BMW in Schaumburg as installer, but others have been notified by this dealer that it will void warranty, which I don't want to deal with. Any other shops nearby, I've also heard Fall Line is a potential, but maybe pricey option.

Thanks

I'd just find a mechanic that can remove your pumpkin and then ship it to Harold for shimming, etc and then your mechanic just reinstalls the pumpkin. Practically just 3 or 4 places worldwide have done shimmed multiple N54 LSD's and you might end up with tons of whining like I did. It's still worth though, I rarely get a traction control light anymore and my car dynos right at 400 hp, etc. I do occasionally miss being able to sit there and impressively burn one tire when i want to..lol.

Give Julius a call at WSTO...their shop (A&L) might be able to do the job, if not maybe he can make a recommendation. You may also want to post this in the Regional Midwest Section since there are number of guys in the area with good contacts.

The other alternative is to purchase an exchange final drive from us. Then all you need is a BMW independent to install it for you.
