135i Curb Fail - Need Input...
My otherwise mint 2013 135i DCT ended up high centered stuck on a median (dont ask), and poked a hole in the transmission fluid pan and therefore was undriveable and towed to the shop. The current estimate is at $13K (gasp) but the body shop manager just called and mentioned that he doesn't know if the tranny can be filled / flushed and be OK or if it needs a full transmission replacement, which would probably total the car. That seems a bit extreme. The car ran for about 1.5 minutes before being shut off and never moved from the impact...anyone have experience with repair / replacement in this scenario?

Id still suggest they try the pan and refill first. Even if you have to pay for it. Depends how much attachment you have with the car though
