Like i said this is not a finished product whatsoever.
once again sorry i've been lagging on the progress, but i lost my cutout for the earlier pictures so i had to recut these from memory.

I didnt meant to have the corner on the blinker part, and i wanted it not to curve as low as it did, but tests are tests.. right? :P

I would love feedback!

Stop taking pictures up close. It'll always look bad when you're up that close. Take some far away so we can see how it flows with the lines of the car. It's like women... they look great normally but up close is a different story!

k what i was thinking was starting it a little higher from the inside to the out, and not have it bend down into the headlight as much. I'm still working on it though ;D

Don't waste your time. Save up your money and buy real eyelids. It's like putting cheap tires on a Ferrari.

Dude, I said don't waste your TIME and SAVE UP your money. Besides, is your time worth nothing? I'm not sure vinyl eyelids can ever be perfect until BMW or another aftermarket parts company starts manufacturing them.

Seriously dude, if you can afford to buy a BMW (unless you didn't pay for it), you can save up for some real eyelids. Personally, I would never do what you're doing no matter how bad I wanted eyelids. But then again, it's your car, do whatever you want to it.

I know a guy on this forum who has custom made professional eyelids for less than $200 a set painted, and that's seriously cheap compared to aftermarket ones I've seen. Would you rather have imitation stuck on eyelids or real ones for less than $200?

+1

Its a good effort but your driving a BMW, this type of stuff is something I would expect on some Honda with a big AutoZone spoiler on the trunk.
But to each his own, it is your car after all.

im all for making your own things, its cool, but in this case i would say its a no go. vinyl eyelids just dont work, real eyelids are thicker so they line up with the hood.. however most eyelids look like poop anyways but w.e!

IMO these look way better than any "real" eyelids you can buy. Looks much more subtle and flows much better, almost like a joey-modded headlight. Plus, Bananaboy-if you have the money for a BMW why cheap out and get "real" eyelids? Get a real metal boser done.
