Maintenance required at 55k miles?

Have a 135i. Driven pretty hard. So far, I've had:

- Water pump replaced
- Turbos replaced
- Spark plugs + coils replaced

What else should I look at doing? My car has a few qualms

- On MHD stage 1, getting small wastegate rattle. Martial contacted me with an idea to fix which I'll look at tonight.
- Car creaks (hr sport springs, koni yellow shocks) when going up or down inclines and turning (torsional chassis flex)
- No hesitation or anything that makes me think I should blast my intake valves yet, but it's on the list.

I've heard the oil filter gasket should be changed....any more suggestions?

Agree 100%. Have the valves cleaned and the oil filter housing gaskets (o-rings) replaced.

Also, take a look at your valve cover and make sure its not leaking.

Is that worth it even with the N55 engine?

Supposedly N55 doesn't cake up as bad. Won't really know until you scope it out or pull the manifold for sure.

If the idle is smooth you may be ok.

Idle is smooth.

Does anyone know what would cause creaking from the rear when getting off curb ramps at an angle? Would a rear shock mount squeak?

Yep! Rear shock mounts are probably bad. I would buy the DINAN rear shock mount kit - its better in every way over the stock parts - plus you get a little bit more travel out of the rear shocks.

FIY... these recalls and service updates might also apply to your car. And now there is a new recall for the front side airbags coming out soon.

Sweet. I already had the turbos replaced under TSB and did the injectors myself since my production date was 1 month past eligible (2008 nov instead of october).

Thanks Dackel!
