Camber plates going in, alignment settings for track / daily?
I once saw on here a recommendation for alignment settings after adjustable camber plates that would work great for track and well for street without having to do anything else but adjusting camber ( not caster) at the track....
Anyone know and can tell me please? Thank you!

when you adjust your camber toward negative you increase your toe out. So technically you should set your toe out(1/16-1/8 total maybe?) at the camber you want for track and then decrease negative camber until your toe is at zero and that will be your daily setting. Theoretically at least. someone back me up please.

honestly, since so little camber is possible, even with camber plates, i'd max 'em out and just leave them for street and track. you'll wind up with like 2 or 2.5 degrees right? i had my m3 at ~2.5 for street and ~3.5 for track for years, and got even tread wear (i do mostly rural/suburban commuting). if you spend a lot of time on the highway, though, you might want to decrease your front camber to something more like 1 degree for the street to preserve your tires.

-2 rear camber with 3/16" total toe-in for the rear. No need to change this at the track. |
