That's false. I own a 2006 Si. In 2007 Honda introduced stability control, but other than that, ABS, and Nav, what "electronic candy" does the Si have?

The Si's diff is mechanical, not "electric" like the BMW's. It doesn't mess with active steering, iDrive, or Comfort Access, either. I know these things are optional on the 1er, but trust me: BMW has Honda whupped on the gadgets front. :wink:

With regards to the EVO and Sti, they are both nice cars in their own respect, but at the moment they just don't appeal to me that much. The EVO's styling is not my favorite, personally I think it makes the car look very tall and narrow. In addition, I am pretty sure it is going to be a good deal heavier than the 135i (~200lbs). But, that AWD system does look sick.....The Sti on the other hand will probably be even better performing. The WRX on which it is based on didnt gain an appreciable amount of weight this time around, so the Sti will probably (from what I hear) be about the same weight as the last model. But, right now the styling is killing me, especially the tail lights.

Neither the Sti or EVO will deliver the luxory and refined driving experience of a BMW (because for the most part they are not designed to) and the 135i will never deliver the nail biting hardcore drive that the Sti and EVO offer. Different strokes for different folks......

Powered seats with Memory..?

Heated Headlight washers..?

Heated seats..?

30mpg..?

Interior lighting..?

I had a 06 si with the Navi. Honda's Navi puts idrive to shame. That's what I was talking about.
