airfilter/intake

I have read around a bit on different forums, about the air filter, but I'm confused if it's worth, go for a eftermarkands filter or stick to the original. my mind is to the end having following:
PE catback
cobb stage 2
VRSF FMIC
VRSF DP

so if i should buy. What should I go for?

Air intake is beneficial if you are running higher boost. Plus it's a piece of mind part that you can flow more air and let the car breathe better.

I would say yes get one. Most of them are pretty close to the same. The biggest difference is the price.

I waited for a intake until I had all the other mods you listed above. I should have done it earlier, good performance gains but mainly it's the amazing sound....

Just installed the BMS DCI, works great and not too expensive. Plus it makes a pretty sweet noise!

What if one is not running any other mods? I installed an aFe intake (open top dual cone) and it seem like I have lost all my low end performance. I read that it could be heat soak as I am in AZ. Should I put stock air box back on until I get a tune to run more boost?
