135 e-diff vs LSD
Can someone please explain what's the difference between our diffs and a regular LSD?

Our e-diff's (electronically controlled differentials) use a technique somewhat similar to traction control, in which case they regulate the power being sent to the wheels electronically.

I believe the e-diff just applies slight braking force to one wheel to add a resistance that forces the power to the opposite wheel.

+1 That was more or less the same explanation that was given to me when I picked up my car and asked about it. It gives slight braking to the opposite wheel where traction is lost to simulate diff lock.
