Nice!

Has anyone gone from just a drop to a full setup (shock/struts), worth the $3k difference in price.
I'll admit I'd do it more for looks then the handling, although a little less lean would be nice.

I did consider a spring set-up but then I remembered the time when I had Eibach's on my S2000. During high speed turns the car gets rather 'bouncy' and might I add scary. So for a car like the 1M, I wasn't going to take that risk. I'm on KW V3's now and its pretty good. As comfortable as stock but much better in the corners. Only problem I had with KW's is the noise it makes over bumps.

I wouldn't risk lowered springs for a car like the 1M, plus you can always sell the coil-overs 2nd hand later on to get half your money back at least.

H&Rs were slightly stiffer than the Eibach if my memory serves well, both ride very comfortable, I also now have the Eibach sway bars on the car and it just feels planted no roll whatsoever in the car. Like i said you cant go wrong either either kit, but this guy is team EIBACH
I haven't seen Eibach sway bars available, where did you get them? Are they adjustable?

To me the 1m has a well sorted suspension in stock form.

Lowering springs force so many comprimises to be made to the cars suspension, and almost all for the worse. For example, changes the suspension geometry, eliminates significant amount of shock / strut travel, unmatched spring rates to the stock dampers and bushings to name only a few.

I would recommend strongly against doing that to this car. The car handles so well with only a good set of tires, I'd hate to ruin that balance with a set of springs.

Jmo, based on a ton of suspension experience on 4 different bmws, including two m3s.

Well, it will be a year from now that I can actually start shopping for parts, so hopefully they will be an option.

I will agree, however, the o.e suspension isn't brilliant in comparison to a good aftermarket kit, springs set it off nicely cosmetically for now,the ride is rather bumpy in standard form.if I decide that the car is a long termer,I'll treat it to some proper suspension

The drop on this VO (US 1M) is too low.
