extra down shifts?

Hi guys,

When I'm driving my 2011 135i w/ DCT, I notice that when I slow down to a stop, sometimes the engine idle drops down to around 600-500 rpm and then it behaves like when the engine is downshifting. it revs up to around 1050 and then slowly drops down a few times to around 600 rpm eventually settling at around 800 rpm idle... This happens whether I'm in manual mode or Auto mode... I haven't tried it in sport mode yet.

is this suppose to happen or what?

I can upload a video showing this happening if someone needs to watch it happen.

Sounds normal... mine does the same thing...
