Yes definitely, saw in myself on the dealers computer screen. Hope it hasn't been damaged on the was to the boat in Germany and they are frantically repairing it.... the imagination runs wild :-(

Then again Kris' car is not on a boat either and his VIN is before mine. Maybe both out cars collided...

Okay guys, just checked my VIN and low and behold, she’s booked in!

mines booked in Aida, expected arrival at port kembla on the 28th of may. So if all goes well should get it early June...

I checked with my dealer again and he made a mistake with the VIN - my real VIN is WBAUC72030VF20050 which means it's on the TORTUGAS!PORT KEMBLAAUSTRALIA19/05/200820/05/2008BRISBANEAUSTRALIA21/05/200821/05/2008

So he was right about the car arriving on 19 May after all.

I'm starting to feel very left out here. Week 13 build, VF18633 VIN, and still haven't got a boat. WTF??

You would have to be visually confirming the VIN with the dealer and then making sure that the VIN listed is correct from MUNICH..Their has to be an error with the VIN as was with Sydneysider..

Yes I personally sighted my VIN on the dealer's computer screen. Kris also seems to have the same problem, his VIN is VF18619 - 14 cars before mine.:iono:

I have been wondering if the VIN was correct in the first place. But how would I know, after all that is the VIN that comes up on the dealer screen, which I assume is linked to BMW Germany.

That's the second VIN that I was given after I checked with the dealer - so perhaps that can get muddled. However he was always right about the date of arrival - so irrespective of the tracking the dealer should have the delivery date. He didn't know the name of the cargo ship but gave me the ship's code.

I've emailed my dealer to find out what the f*&*& is going on..

EDIT: Checked my email, dealer says my car arrives on the 18th May. He said ill have it in my hands between 10 and 14 days after that date... Still, im not on the boat, wtf?

Hey Kris looks like we both have the same problem. WTF is exactly what I've been thinking. Seems like we are the only ones not to have been allocated a boat.

Hopefully it's due to some sort of clerical error with our VINs and our cars at tucked in nicely on a boat, en-route as we speak.:iono:

Just doesn't make any sense why our cars haven't been shipped as both our VINs are before ones that are already on boats.

Please let me know if you find out anything more, till then I'll keep checking the WWL web site serveral times daily.

PS. I checked and there are no boats arriving at Pt Kembla on 18/5/08. Closest is TORTUGAS arriving on 19/5/08, followed by TRINIDAD on 26/5/08, then TORAGO on 27/5/08, then AIDA on 28/5/08, and TEXAS on 9/6/08..... any later than that and I'm going to be real pissed off

Although my dealer didn't have the name of the ship (and the first VIN he gave me was wrong), he did have the ship's code. There's a shipping link on the 1addicts tracking forum that you can plug in the code and find the ship. A2092 is Tortugas - hopefully he gives you the same code.
