I have run Apexcone HIDs before. As a company, they put out a fine product. I had them on my Legacy GT as headlights and never blew a bulb. Super high quality, reasonable price because of Chinese manufacturing, but superior to eBay kits for sure! Also put them on my bike, but swapped to another kit after doing a projector retrofit...I am a fan!

I don't really frequent eBay very often. Any particular seller or titled listing I should look for?

Morimoto is another reputable brand sold by local dealers.

Apexecone kits are pretty decent. I ran a set in my headlights and a set in my fogs on my Altima SE-R without any issues. I also currently have a set in my 89 Buick GS and they have been great too! All three kits were purchased from DDM. I wouldn't buy their replacement bulbs for factory HIDs though. I put a set in my Cadillac DTS when I had it, and they didn't even last a month. The apexecone retrofit stuff isn't bad though. Haven't tried it on the 1er yet though.
