Looking for VMR's or simular style here in Europe

With both work and kids keeping me busy I tend to lurk more here than anything, that I need to change. Anyway, I want new wheels for my 135, and I love the looks of the VMR 710's, is there anywhere here in Europe to find them for a reasonable price?

When I bought my MINI years ago I put R90's on it and it made all the difference in look, and I want that same feeling about my 135. I'm just not feeling the love with this car for some reason. What can you recommend in the region? Thanks - Rainier

After checking out the prices on the Euro VMR site I need to look for alternatives. It's just too steep in price, and I know a significant factor is due to the tax.

We've had the warmest winter on record here in Prague this year and I've had her out on the road a lot. I've driven her to work all week long, which has been nice. I'm looking for that best bang for my buck to put rims on it that make it look amazing to me. That and using my present tires.

Any other ideas? I may just order them on the US site and shipped APO but if I do that I'd just want tires as well and that would drive up the price. And my cheapness along with wife agro factors in.

Hmmmmm, Wonder if I could get a deal on rims for her car as well....

VMR won't ship to APO anymore but you may find a re-seller that ships APO.

If you have access to APO you should also have access to VAT forms. That would lower the price from the European dealer. Just a thought.

Side note: I love Prague, such a great city. I'll be taking my fiance there sometime in the summer, maybe we can meet for a pint or two?



EDIT: just saw that the VMR warehouse is outside of Germany. And then I realized the warehouse isn't in CZ so VAT forms wouldn't help at all in this situation. DOH! Sorry.

Mr Kleen, absolutely on linking up for a pint while you're out here. I'm going to drive out for the 1'ers at the Ring here in May so we can exchange info then. Let me know if you need any recommendations on hotels. I know of a number of reasonable priced places here in town. (plus I know of some fantastic places that will impress your girl that are not so reasonable).
