Actually, as of March, it's 85% Windows. The rest is a mix of Mac, Linux, etc. However, I'd be willing to bet that Mac ownership amongst BMW owners is higher than the general population, so why leave them out? Yes, you can run windows on a Mac but that's not an elegant solution.

OK 85% then. If you are correct that the lion's share of BMW owners are Mac users then there is another point why no Mac support for this application. I assume the ///Marketing department is trying to excite non BMW owners.

Lastly, Parallels in coherence mode is quite good. PC apps run as if they are native to the Mac OS...just make sure you have a good amount of ram in your machine.

I tried it last night on my MacBook pro running parallels and why everything looks good, the game was choppy and slow. Forza 4 is much better IMHO.

Could run parallel, but if the controls are meh then probably not worth all of the effort. I'll stick with Limbo for now. The graphics don't look too bad.

Weird. With windows 3.1 and my dial up connection the 1M seems to have a serious case of the heat soak. It's 1992 all over again!

Use bootcamp. It works great for me with GTR etc.

I have a 27" iMac and a logiteck force fed wheel.
It also worked with my Macbook pro and my wheel. When you use Boot Camp it unfortunately is a PC. I used Emulators in the 90s and a Microsoft coprocessor in 1982 and this is much better. BTW, yes the coprocessor, was a Microsoft CPM one and I used it with dBase. There was no MS Dos then.

This passed under my radar back in 2012, so never gave it a try.

It seems that the 1M game is currently offline (http://www.autoclubrevolution.com). Right ?

Hopefully someday BMW gets in touch with Electronic Arts to create a "BMW Unleashed" Need For Speed spin-off, à la "Porsche Unleashed" 15 years ago. I would definitely buy any such game.

Not sure if it offline, but I played it last year. Bought the 1 M of course. Didn't like the game.

Assetto Corsa and Project CARS are the best racers for PC that contain the 1 M.

Assetto Corsa is imho the best racing sim at the moment and 1M drives more or less like the real one physics wise. It's really something else, it's just fantastic.

Project Cars graphically looks a tad better, but physics are just not on par with Assetto Corsa, but the do have rainy weather implemented and also great fun.

Cheers
Robin
