Dash stack layout?
On some 135's ive seen the center dash layout are different. Mine is to top bottom. *headunit cd *a/c *blank Like on the Nav version it is *a/c *cd *blank Question is how can i move them like to put the a/c on the lowest part headunit middle then a single DIN aftermarket headunit in? Is there room back there for say a standard aftermarket headunit? I want to keep the OEM radio this is for a project i have some ideas for. Any one know??

You could relocate the AC control unit from the dash to the center console, for example, by extending its OEM wiring harness with 1-to-1 custom wiring.
That will give you some space below the OEM radio. This AC control unit should be the same as in the 3 Series, and somebody in the E90post forum did exactly that to install an aftermarket double DIN nav system where the OEM HU is located. Quote:
