Stock 128i Bumper Alterations. Which option do you like the best?

Okay,

So I was just playing around REAL quick, hence the shitting editing job, with the non-sport 128i front bumper in Windows Paint. I basically just colored in the lower dividers next to the fog lights in black in three different combinations. This doesn't mean I will actually do the project, just wanted to hear other opinions on the matter. It's a slow day at work.

Thanks.

Not sure I really like any of them, but probably the top right.

Glad to see your back on the forums Sam!

On the OP question, I probably wouldn't consider any of the options that you have... I would look into doing black out grills and then re-paint your lower grills to match.

Cutting or painting would be no go

Use vinyl and go with the bottom right.

Done!

Yeah, it was just an idea i was playing around with. If I did any of them it would be either the top or bottom right, but more leaning towards the top right.

To me the top right sorta looks like the front bumper of the brand new 328 with the horizontal divider going somewhat into the middle without any vertical divider.

I like the top right, the bottom right is okay, makes it look like a 118i

I like the bottom left one, looks most 'factory'.

Agreed, this looks like something BMW might actually do. It also visually enlarges the fog light opening and makes it appear something more along the lines of the M-sport bumper. I think the bottom-right option makes the 1er look like it has a smirk on its face, in vain of the Mazda 3, though to a much lesser extent. Just my $.02!

^^ I thought so too, that wide opening with no divisions reminded me of the new 2011 VW Jetta.
