235/35 and 255/35 18 Tires?

I have just got a pair of style 203 wheels that went on the Z4 performance suspension option. I wanted factory wheels and at least 8" upfront. The fronts are 18 x 8 et47 and rears are 18 x 8.5 et50.

Conti has a new DW tire that looks impressive and are light. They have a 235/35 that is .4" shorter than the stock 215/40 for the front and on the rear I was thinking of the 255/35.

I am not lowering the car, though I have also got the M3 sways, tie bars, and wishbones. I do not want to roll or trim fenders for several reasons. Does anyone think these sizes will fit without rubbing?

Please help as I need to order the tires soon and really want to avoid rubbing yet use the largest tire that is reasonible.

Thanks

might rub on the strut with that size wheel up front. your moving a little bit closer to the strut (4 mm) and then getting a bigger tire on top of that. But I could be wrong. My buddy has 235 direzza's up front on his stock wheels.

Wouldn't recommend that combination. The diameters of the front and rears do not match and at a guess there is probably at least a 1 inch difference. If you go for 255/35 18 on the rears then a matching front would be 225/40 18 , which would also be a safe option as to rubbing.
