THANK YOU GUYS! This is exciting, as I'm 99% sure I'll buy a 128i, and 75% sure it'll be AW. So this is great for helping my decision.
Are we sure it doesn't have the Sport Package though? Those wheels look awfully big and the tires look awfully low profile to be the "standard" (non-Sport) suspension. I know it doesn't have the more aggressive front fascia and rear diffuser of the 135i, but I've believed all along that USDM 128i's won't get the aero stuff with the Sport Package. Just the wheels/tires, better suspension, steering wheel and seats. This looks like a fully loaded 128i (Park Assist, Active Cruise Control, Headlight Washers, etc.) Edit: Now I'm wondering if this is a 128i. The turn signals in the corner of the headlight assembly are clear. From what I understand, they have to be amber on USDM cars. Since the 128i is a US-only vehicle, I would think this car should have the amber turn signals if it's a 128i. The wheels and tires in the middle picture above sure look bigger/lower profile than those in this picture: |

Great find!!! What sports pack is everyone talking about? I haven't seen any mention of a sports package option anywhere. Is the sports package going to be an option in the US? What will it include?
I wonder why it has what appears to be two tow hook covers on the rear bumper (right side). I know I want AW, but I'm not sure how much I like how the PDC sensors really stand out. I'm really hoping its just the photos, because its not as noticeable on other AW bm's I've looked at but really stand out here. Likely this is not a 128 however. This is not a US spec car which will have the 128's. This is likely a Euro diesel model. Euro lights and trunk (euro license plate). |

Those options are mentioned in the UK 135i press release but not in the states. In the states they only mentioned the M aero kit as standard and there is a weak reference of M suspension being standard as well. I sure hope so.

Yeah but I think when they mention that theres a "sport tuned suspension" that they mean its the same suspension given to the UK car. God, I hope so... |

I think what we'll see (based on the information in the press release for the US) is M-Aerodynamic package and standard (not optional) Sport Package for the 135i. I suspect that if you want the M interior goodies you'll have to opt for that as a separate package and it will come with the special 18" wheels (261's?) (and that'll possibly allow the selection of the LeMans blue paint - I think the German brochure hints at that). Package '337' IIRC.

But we arent actually going to get any M sport models. We arent even going to see the 4 banger or the diesel at any time this coming year. I hope we can select some of those options though.

My understanding is that the base 135i model for the US will be the M Sport version, which is the same that the UK is getting. But the US is getting the 128i as the entry level 1er instead of the diesel 4 cylinders.
