N54 135i leaking oil

Hey guys my cars leaking I believe it's the valve cover gasket because there is oil on the side of it also under my car on the plastic cover that's under my oil pain it's wet there pretty sure it's oil... My car smells like oil after it warms up. Any ideas? Or anyone had this issue? Thanks!

Pull the engine cover up and take a peak at the valve cover. Right above cylinder 3 where the crank case breather is a crack usually develops. Check there first before condemning the gasket.

Valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and oil feed lines to the turbos

Check all of those they have all leaked on my car and most of the others on this forum although feed lines is a littler more rare.

Had to replace the valve gasket cover 3 times on my last N54
It's a likely culprit, especially if you're FBO.
Make sure when you get it replaced, not sure if you're going to the dealer or not, but these aftermarket chinese gaskets (ECS Tuning) out there don't work, shell out for the OEM gasket, or buy through a dealer.

Mine has been replaced twice as well however not sure it was needed the second time (only 15k miles from the last time) but they did so because they were carbon blasting
