I agree, I can wait for Vorshlag to get the best

Where do you get "take offs" and how much cheaper are they than new?
And how many events/session can you get out of them?

300 to 325 for Toyo Proxie R888 for my wheels which are 19's. I'm trying to decide if switching to 18's would really be worth the time and effort.

I only did this time ONCE though...could probably have been more consistent in the low 2:30's with R-comps.

Here is my last session on Sunday playing with my buddy Dave in the 350Z. I tried like hell for the last 3 events just to keep up with him and it finally all came together. He passes me and then has to let me go back by cause he cant shake me..both videos below.

His view:

Your line into big bend and little bend is significantly better after he passed you.... LOL at the pass and repass,, that's fun stuff! you were killing him in rattle snake to the bottom of the hill. That charge down the hill across the rumble streets and then using the apron to blast to the hairpin can be complete magic!

Awesome videos. Great lines.

Looking for a body shop. :(

You may have seen the damage my car picked up on I35 near Dallas yesterday:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...3#post12000733

I need to get my car in to be fixed soon. Any recommendations for a good body shop, preferably in the South Dallas area (I live in Duncanville). There is a Craigs Collision and Caliber Collision close to me. Any experience with these shops?

Just signed up for an event with the drivers edge July 14th and 15th. Anyone else planning on attending/instructing (would love to have a 1M driver as an instructor, first timer)?

Super excited.

For those waiting on Vorshlag to finish building a camber plate for stock suspension, they are at least thinking about it. A couple weeks ago I lent them my stock front springs for measurements. They came to my house and picked it up. Hopefully not too much longer.

I have yet to see an instructor for TDE that owns a 1M. The 1.7 is great for a first timer too. You can email Rick the name of an instuctor if you know one you want. I would recommend Brett Gabriel. He is by far the best instructor I have had and he knows how to explain and teach the line. He races spec Miata but often drives his wifes 911 or his E46 M3 at the track. He is the only person I have trusted enough to drive my car besides myself and I let him do on the track at speed right after I got it. Other good choices would be Alan Wolfe (almost as good as Brett), Ginger Gabriel (Bretts wife), or Ross Carmichael. All are very good. I have only had one instructor with TDE I didn't like and I quickly got him out of my car

Agree with Mnime on all. Not sure if Tony Washington will be there, he is a most excellent driving instructor, and he's even driven my 1M (sans traction control).

I believe B.J. Meyer instructs with them as well.

I'll be out at MSR-C tomorrow instructing with Apex. 1.7 CW, should be fun. Anyone that wants to come out for a ride in a 1M come find me. Will probably be the only 1M there.

If I can get some work done on the car by then I might try to make it out there with you..

By the way, you should've seen the number of 1Ms at the Nurburgring. Ive never seen so many in one place. They looked right at home.

Whats up CJ?

I'm going to PM you my #, feel free to hit me up if you need some help. I am fairly inept when it comes to wrenching, but I have two hands and a brain. I'm sure you guys had a blast, want to hear all about it.

I can't make the TDE event on July 14-15 but I am registered for the 1-day Apex event on July 21, 1.7ccw. Any other 1M's attending?

Anyone have maddad mid pipes installed with a stock muffler? Considering picking one up.

Also, finished up the 2-day event at MSR last weekend. I don't have enough good things to say about TDE, MSR and the 1M of course. It was my first ever track event and I am hooked. Going to inquire about the apex event and see if they have any open novice spots.
