headlight auto-on sensitivity

Is it possible to change when the headlights kick on while in auto mode? Mine turn on in much brighter conditions than I'd prefer and I'd like reign that in some.

Bright sunny afternoon and pass through some shade for a moment and they're on... Then they stay on for minutes longer than necessary. Silly I suppose, but it bugs me enough that I've ended up just turning em off during the day. If the sensitivity is adjustable I'd love to tweak it some!

If you have iDrive, you should be able to adjust it in one of the vehicle option menus. I remember being able to do it on an e90 335i loaner I had years ago. If you don't have iDrive, not sure. Maybe you could have it coded in somehow?

I don't blame you when I bought my car I noticed that the lights had started to burn a spot into the housing I ended up getting new ones because the mounts were broken so I keep headlights off as long as possible and no drls

Looked at the lighting options in iDrive this morning (CIC, Settings>Lighting) but no joy with auto-headlight stuff. Next time I get a chance I'll toss FRM into NCS Dummy and look around, see what I can find...

There was an option under the hidden bc menus IIRC. I saw 3 settings on my car. But no idea what is what.
