Wow. 21K for the sports suspension is steep. It costs just 3K to upgrade from normal suspension if optioned at order.

Buy the whole set of E90 sports suspension HK$21000 and get it installed outside (labour ~4K ?). 18" AC wheels, $16000?
225+255 PS/2 ~$8000. That is $49000 already. I can probably save the tires by transferring my existing C55's 225+255 PS/2 to the E90 as they worn out quicker on the C55 and I want to move to 235+255 PS/2 on the C55.

Still some thinking....
t, if you have scratched rims, no need to buy new. You can fix them at "Ling C Fu" in ShamShuiPo ( I would say it will be 99% invisible after fix). If you are interested in fixing them, I will give you the phone number. Whole set BMW suspension costs HK$21000? Maybe you can try out their sport suspension first (ask them if they have any E90 w/ sport suspension for test drive)and compare with my Bilstein setup. Mine is alot cheaper!

21000 is the price for the whole set of stock Sport Suspension! ( not even M3 suspension )
About the C55 scratched wheels, one of them was re-polished and painted a year ago and I never like the loss of the shinning and now the paint is dropping off badly and also the circular curve is no longer a circle because the polishing had cut out some pieces at the edge ; the other rim is also scratched but not been painted. So I guess I just replace both. About the shop they can polish rims, I have less hope they can restore my rims because the rims are very shining with a protective liquor layer and once polished, that shining will be gone. I can consider to try your suggestion with one rim - the unpainted one.
About the windscreen, I can get 5K from insurance and Zung Fu will charge at least 15K. I know I can possibly do it outside with my friend's garage and buy the original windscreen for les than 7K. Iam thinking... but the crack is horrible.

Yes, you can try to fix one rim first. If you are satisfied, then you may consider to fix the other one too!

Yes, Zung Fu is charging crazy on windshield. They quoted me around HK$30000 while I can get them outside (Original Mercedes parts) at around 4000 installed!

i really love the AW with terra after seeing it in real , no regret I pick this colour combination.

1st thing I try is to use the bluebooth, it pair up fine with my Nokia 3230, however it does not sync up the phone book, I recall reading other threads that people have this problem also. Not a big deal to me as long as phone call works. The caller ID will display on the radio.

cntlaw, are u able to find any shop with good price for the AC pedal ?
Congrats....looking forward to seeing your AW w Terra

Correct. $21000 is the price I enquired from BMW. This price includes the springs, suspensions, plus 2 thicker anti roll bars.
Good idea to test a sports E90 with staggered wheels!tks

Been driving the E90 ( ~1450km milege only ) today and we checked a few places today!
1, Camry launch in Harbour City ( and look what we saw in the car park )
2, BMW showroom in Causeway Bay - A grey color 120i is there. The interior of the 1-series can not match the E90.
3. Mercedes Showroom on same street - Took a very close look and sitting in the new S-Class, by my surprise, I never wanted to walk out from the car - never been sitting in such a beautiful luxury interior in my life. Should go there and try it !
I will be driving more of the E90 next week as I am sending my c-class for service.

hi guys, i saw my 323i today... :rocks:
i went to the 6th floor (the last place where BMW park all the new cars before delivery to buyers) of the ToKwaWan showroom this afternoon and to my surprise, I saw one e90 with Terra, and is a SG. I checked & found out it is a 323, xenon & with rear sunbinds... though not confirmed by the salesguy, i am pretty sure this is mine... the salesguy later told me that mine will be ready next week.

Wow, seems you had a busy day!

1. Not interested in the Camry but the DB9 looks very sexy!
2. I am hoping to rent a 120d manual for my trip, hopefully I can get it
3. I have seen the new S in the showroom. Although it's very nice but it didn't improve alot from the W220 in terms of interior features but I don't mind having one

3. I have seen the new S in the showroom. Although it's very nice but it didn't improve alot from the W220 in terms of interior features but I don't mind having one

Seeing the xenons in your car make me want to hang myself for not ordering it in the first place. Though pictures a bit blurry, great looking car, Ray. Do take some more pictures when you get your car.

Can't join you guys for the second meet as I will not have a car. The salesguy is taking my car away and I'll be without one until my new one arrives.
