Yeah, but I know Audi used to put a SMIC in that general location on some of their cars so figured I'd play it safe since I don't know for sure what it is

You know what I'm actually super curious about? What kind of oil they'll be using in that engine. Castol TWS 10W60 ("///M oil") or the regular BMW/Castrol 5W30? Conventional wisdom would suggest the regular BMW oil since it's still just an N54 but who knows.
