I've been looking at this pic the entire week. I absolutely love it, just wished there was a rear end PS with it.
Honestly, if it looked like this, I'm sold. Orange/Cloth/6MT Cold weather pack LED headlights if possible Agh, day dreaming again.

Yea but I want someone to match it in the same shade of orange! That would absolutely be the color I pick.
These renders are literally the only thing stopping me from even test driving an M235i. Although I probably will soon.

W///: The M2 won't be available for 2 years at least. Might as well lease/buy a 235 and upgrade with the new M2 in 3 years. Or wait. I guess it depends what you are currently driving.
If you test drive a 235, it will be just a taste... you can stop at any time... really... I like the red M2 render a lot. I think it is going to be closer to the production model with the more gradual take off of the fender flares (similar to the M4) and the newer style front quarter vents. I would expect a CF roof, though, which isn't on the render. |

The thing I'm most curious about is the steering feel. There's an Estoril M235i sitting at the dealership I've been wanting to try out.

I hear you on the orange - it's the color I would get as well - and this seems to be much more "orange" than VO, which is something that I hope makes it all the way to the real car...

In terms of steering feel vs. the E82 135, the M235 is definitely lighter, but I would say the steering is also quicker/more direct. And since the car has so much more grip than the E82 (in my opinion), the differences are basically a wash for me. Just my $.02

These renders are driving me CRAZY....I know two years is a long way off but i can wait and man if they look like these renders the M2 will be a classic and IMO the most popular M car BMW will have. Just blowing my mind looking at these renders...

Seriously. I keep lurking on the 2er forum to hear more secret info on the M2 or some new PS. It's insane that a car that doesn't even exist yet can have so much of my attention
