The 123d won.

It was a big test with a bunch of very efficient diesels, so included the Mini D, Renaultsport Megane DCi etc

Good to see it win, although the car pictured in the review pics was their long term 135i and not a 123d which makes me wonder if the 123d was actually there!!!???

I noticed that and thought it a bit odd. Don't think it was their long term 135i though as the number plate was different.

We in the US (at least me) are jealous of you 123D drivers. I will be in the UK sometime in the next couple of months -- what do you think my chances of getting a test drive would be if i just strolled into a dealership?

^^Slim is better than none. I'd be open to 3 series diesels also, as it's primarily the powerplant I want to sample.

jrc, I see quite a few 320d's and 330d's on the road. Not sure if they do a 123d equivalent in the 3 series....
