Signal light problem
Hey all,
Bought my very first bmw a few months ago. 2008 135i. Under 50,000km. CPO warranty till 2015. About a month ago my right side signal light stopped working. Naturally, I thought it was just a bulb that was burnt out. REplaced the bulb and nothing. The connector was actually shorted out and the dealer said I needed a whole new headlight assembly. Found one BNIB for half the price the dealer was charging. (My warranty didn't cover it). Now a couple days ago my left signal light is out. This time it was the bulb, or so I thought. Replaced the bulb and everything was fine. Today, it stopped working. Checked the connector and everything seems fine. Has this happened to anyone? Or is it just a run of bad luck? |

I just had an issue with the side signal markers. I must have hit it while washing my car last week.. coz it fell out. Was hanging against the side of the car when I got to work. I pulled it out and the plastice clip had broke. I did not think a little bump would have caused the plastic clip to break. Maybe it was 5 years of fatigue.
So I replaced both sides because the other side would have look weathered. |
