Well then the only fair thing is that you start a US tour so we can all hear it.

PS: Your car looks great! One of the nicest/cleanest I've seen. Well done!

I love the stance as well. It makes such a BIG difference in how it looks. But, the greatest benefit has definitely been the reduction in front end lift at speed. Considerably less air seems to be getting under the car. It really made a huge difference going down that last 1" or so. It feels much more stable at speed.

This being said, I do have the bit of rubbing. It's only on the passenger front side. And, only when hitting dips/bumps at speed. The reason is likely two-fold... First, I think the Hankooks run a bit wide for a 245/18. Second, the negative camber adjustment is not precisely the same on both sides. The passenger side has a bit less room for adjustment, so it's slightly off from the maximum negative setting I get on the driver side. I have not rolled the fenders. Though, the inner lip of the passenger front fender has been "rolled" a bit from the tire hitting it. It's a "natural" fender roll! LOL! There's no "damage" at all to it. And, nothing visible whatsoever.

I'm currently contemplating whether or not to raise her up an inch or two for the winter. My stock wheels, w/Sottozeros, are going back on soon. I'll also likely look into spacers to push the stock wheels out a bit.

Thanks again.
I need to slow down for speed bumps. 19" are not that fun in the city. It's more appropriate for high way driving...
I got a laugh on the 'natural fender roll' - that shit's funny

I am raising mine about 5cm for the winter I think. Would hate being the plow between home and work if there's snow. I haven't bought my tires yet, but with 18x8 M6 for winter waiting for me, I soon need to buy some rubber!

Makes sense on the camber plates. I would actually like do go from 19" to 18" next year, and your setup makes me certain that it would be great

I think for a minute I forgot why I love BSM so much. Your car! One of my initial inspiration/influences. i haven't seen your pics since the summer time. Your photos really bring out the how dynamic the paint job is. Plus your stance/wheels are perfect. Well done! I hope I can get that look out of my 2011 BSM. You should have got COTM. Hope you do at some point. Big props and salute to your for repping the BSM crowd.

Also just wondering if your 2010 is the n54 or n55 batch? I assume from your tune its an n54.

you're making me think i should have gone lower :P I'd regret if i did go lower though... But it looks gorgeous like that. I'm hoping once mine it is done it will look half as nice as that.

I'm going all peformance too, the look is just going to be the result of the pursuit of performance.

I can't wait for my ARC-8 wheels to get here.... these pics just made the wait seem longer!!!

I did that with the 330Ci I had for 3 1/2 years. The front was blasted pretty good, but you could really only tell if you felt the paint by hand. BMW paint has held up really well for me in the past. I know I'll be plowing snow with my front end, but ...F' it! It's a car.

i hear ya there too.... you don't find you're bottoming out anywhere? I drove around a car that had a 3 inch ground clearance for a couple years.... only reason i could make it over a few speed bumps is because of the AWD lol

Amazingly, not really. There's one speed bump where I live (out of 5) that I need to go very slowly over, at an angle. Other than that, I never have problems. (Of course, I avoid potential "problem" areas!)

Could we have a video of the meistershaft exhaust???There are only a few in youtube... Im thinking of getting one, but not sure if the HP version is loud enough, or if the race version will be too much combined with the catless downpipes... Anyways, nice car.

Too loud or too soft is completely subjective. Plus, I've yet to hear a video that gives an accurate sound or sound level. I'd just go with the GT and call it a day. I only have an axle-back, but wouldn't personally be concerned that it would be "too loud" (for me) if I were to get downpipes and the mid-section.

Thanks for the compliment!

Yeah, I like them much better this way for sure! I use anti-rust stuff too to keep the centers from getting ugly.
