JB3 Map 7

I just recently got my JB3 for my car. I have been running Map 5 and it is simply amazing! I wanted to bump it up to Map 7 but im worried that it may trigger codes. The only other upgrade I have is an AFE Intake. According to the JB3 Manual running map 7 may trigger some codes. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

Do you have a BT cable? Just take caution and clear codes if necessary...besides that enjoy it!

No I don't have the cable. I don't know if I should go to map 7 right now because if a code pops up then i cant just clear it.

For the higher maps having a BT is strongly suggested. It's a great diagnostic tool. But the code you are most worried about you'll never see as its hidden (unless you have the BT to view it).

I run Map 7 regularily and have FMIC and DCI as supporting mods. I scanned my car for the first time today and have no codes or shadow codes. This does not mean I won't get them in the future but none so far.
